Alan Braverman
Alan Braverman, LICSW, LMFT has been practicing the PIT model since 2004 and utilizes it in both his outpatient individual and couples therapy. He also has been mentoring other therapists in this model for more than a decade and leads four-day “intensives” for clients locally and nationally. In addition to the direct training from Pia Mellody, Alan has been a therapist in the Twin Cities for more than 45 years, and has trained in different modalities including EMDR, TRM, Family Systems, and addictions. He has also taken trainings from John Gottman, Terry Real and Sue Johnson. He is passionate about the PIT model as it incorporates both the psychoeducational and experiential aspects that he feels create real healing and change for clients who suffer from childhood relational trauma.
